It is the care in which the care of children is carried out in a family environment alongside their biological family. When the presence of the biological family ia not possible, then creating a family-based environment & care through practices such as foster care and/or adoption.
Refers to different types of care, such as formal or informal, short-term or long-term. Alternative care is a type of care that includes institutional care, foster care, informal care of children whose care cannot be provided by their biological family benefit.
Foster mothers/care staff are the graduates of the Child Development and education departments of Girls’ Vocational High Schools and the nursing department of faculties, colleges or health vocational high schools or high school graduates. Care staff or foster mothers are selected from among those who have a certificate in childcare.
Refers to all individuals who have not yet reached the age of 18.
